Echo Chamber: In the mass media, an echo chamber is the metaphorical description of a situation in which information, ideas, or beliefs are amplified by transmission and repetition in a “closed” system, where different or competing visions are censored or not represented.
In this series, the artist continues to delve into representations in between organic and zoomorphic forms and industrial reminiscent structures. The artist, whose main source of inspiration for these drawings is the blubber or layer of insulating fat on the skin of the whales, represents domes, chasms and sheets joined together by narrow channels, without geographical references and where sound is lost in its own reverb.
